Daniel,
That's a very nice coin of King Canute's reign.


Being of Orcadian Norse descent,this coin is of interest to me,as the Orcadians are descended from the Vikings,as are the Manx.


I have found the coins prior to King Edward I's reign elusive,especially for the Anglo-Saxon coins.
